1 am directed to forward herewith a copy of
letter Nc.D 6*5-S.i./33 dated the 16th fehruary 1935
on the subject of the appointment of the late Shaikh
Sir Isa bin Ali, to the Most jsxalted Order of the
xndian jsmpire.
2. xhe correspondence referred to in this
communication is not traceable in this office and as
the title was conferred during the time of^Great iffar
it is presumed that they were sent to Bahrain without
a record being kept here.
3. x request therefore that a search may kindly be
made in your office for the correspondence and if
tracedit may be forwarded to this
residency
