Distinctive Features:

Two sketch maps of Kut [Al-Kūt] and surrounding area produced to illustrate the British campaign in Mesopotamia showing the elements of the situation and covered communications with location of the British and Turkish military forces also depicting front line of fire and communication trenches. Landmarks are lettered for reference and explained in a note in the upper left-hand corner with corresponding sections of trenches (side, fire and back) and measurements reported.
