IN continuation of the letter from this Office of the -23rd ultimo, relative to the
wliTin ° f of South-Western Persia which your company propose to undertake
with the assistance of an officer of the Indian Survey Department, I am directed by
Secretary Sir Edward Grey to inform you that on the 31st ultimo the draft of a
further telegram to the Government of India, which was stated to have been prepared
at the instance of your company, was communicated to this department by the India
Urtiee with a request lor concurrence in its immediate dispatch.
