How England, who is so fond of accusing others of
ignoring treaties herself, in conjunction with her Allies,
''rectifies" the sane, may oe further judged from the following
correspondence between the Government of India and the Foreign
Office, which took place at the beginning of the year 1914. By
the Agreement of 1907, which, according to Lord Curson*s speech
in the House of Lords on - arch 2Tnd, 1911, "guaranteed the
indivisibility and independence of Persia"; Ispahan was included
in the Russian sphere of interest, that is district of

conclusively how the English had.sought to stay the Russian
