2. Mr. Thomas supports the view of the
Resident that Mr. Fernandes should receive the full
personal allowance of Rs. 70 a month which has been
approved by His Majesty f s Government, and I am to
request that, if the Marquess of Zetland sees no
objection, the Government of India may be asked to
icur in the proposal.
