Diziul and Shushtar Merchants desire to import approximately
odO tons oi wheat via Mohammerah. Haji Sultan Ali Stmshtari is
Bombay Agent in each case. There is considerable scarcity in
northern ^rabistan and Bakhtiari and political situation may
be unfavourably aiiected unless xacilities lor import looostuiis
are given. Customs Bombay should please be instructed to grant
export facilities and competent authori&ies snould ii possible
be moved to grant space by mail or hired transport or otherwise
for them and other foodstuffs in preference to piece-goods
and other non-essential commodities for same port.
