The successor to the Court of Directors. , the British Consulate at Yunnanfu (Kunming, China), the Chinese Waiwupu (Foreign Affairs Department), and the Chinese Legation in London, discussing a request of the Chinese Government to appoint a Chinese Consul at Mandalay, and authorising the establishment of a legation at Rangoon, without the opportunity to make official visits elsewhere in Burma. There are also documents concerning Chinese propaganda in Burma.
