Sir,
I am directed to acknowledge the receipt of
your letter Ho* IE, dated the 7th March 1904, requesting
the recognition of the appointment of Mirza Aly Akbar
Shirasee as Yice Consul for Persia at Mandalay in the
place of Hajee Mirza Mahomed Aly Isfahan!, deceased.
able of the appointment of any previous Vice Consul for
Persia at Mandalay and that the Government of India have
received no intimation from His Majesty’s Government in
regard to Mirza Aly Akbar Shirazee and regret that they
are unable to recognise him in the capacity in question.
In reply I am to state that no record is trace
