Content: This file contains a letter from Bernard Rawdon Reilly (Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Aden) to Malcolm MacDonald (Secretary of State for the Colonies), and a reply from MacDonald to Reilly. The correspondence relates to the concerns of Sir Hormusjee Cowasjee Dinshaw about the future of the Aden Salt Industry. These items were forwarded to the India Office The department of the British Government to which the Government of India reported between 1858 and 1947. The successor to the Court of Directors. in May 1939.
