“ Arri ved at Roraidah 30th October, was given distinguished^-
reception by Turki Ibn Sand and by Governor and public of town. Turk!
is posted here by Ameer^to watch Ibn Rashid, counter his intrigues in
Kasim, control confederation of tribes journeying to prevent anyone of them
such as Tra.ijjhitair from raiding tribes which are sending quotas to assist
Sherif. He is also directed to try by diplomacy to seduce Shammar from
Ibn Rashid. Ibn Rashid is reported in Medina with Fakhri
