complaint made to them by the master of a Persian dhow A term adopted by British officials to refer to local sailing vessels in the western Indian Ocean. , named
Ali Abbes, who states that he wee recently deported froai Bahrain
for being in possession of unstamped letters, according to Ali
Abbas the unstamped letters were hie ships papers* A report is
being submitted to Tehran and in the meantime the custcxns
department have been aeked to enquire whether any other dhows
masters have similar complaints*

7-45 broadcast ovtrlspped into the tims for the B.B.C. broadcast.
The latter complaint has since been rectified.
