Copy of a translation of an agreement between HM Ambassador Extraordinary to Persia [Iran], Sir Gore Ouseley, and the Persian Government. In the agreement the cessation of the subsidy paid by the East India Company to the Persian Government is dependent on the conclusion of a peace treaty between Russia and Persia, and the restoration of some of territories from Russia to Persia.
The translation was enclosed in the letter of HM Ministers to Persia, James Morier and Henry Ellis, to HM Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Viscount Castlereagh, of 21 August 1814 (see IOR/L/PS/9/68/155).
