Content

The map shows routes taken by arms caravans between the Makran Coast and the Afghan border during 1907-08, and is used to accompany notes on the illicit trade of arms and ammunition in the region.

It also illustrates the general directions followed by arms caravans as reported by Captain McConaghey in a letter to the Government of India, dated 15 June 1906, and notes telegraph lines, and demarcated and undemarcated boundaries.
