Letter from Stephen Babingten [Babington], Secretary to the Government at Bombay Castle, to Lieutenant William Bruce, Resident at Bushire, transmitting the copy of a dispatch sent from G Strackey, Chief Secretary to the Government at Fort S George, to Francis Warden, Chief Secretary to the Government at Bombay Castle, on 25 January 1814, requesting assistance and attention on behalf of Azemood Dowlah Bahadoor [Azim-Ud-Daula], Nawob of the Carnatic, to his aunt, Sultan[a] Oom Nisser Begum Courteous or formal title for (usually Muslim) women of elite status, especially of Turko-Mongol lineage. , during her pilgrimage to Mecca.
