Dear Graham Kerr,
Thank you for your letter of the 5th of
September regarding your constituent’s enquiry
about a grant of R3,000 agreed to by the
Government of Bombay From c. 1668-1858, the East India Company’s administration in the city of Bombay [Mumbai] and western India. From 1858-1947, a subdivision of the British Raj. It was responsible for British relations with the Gulf and Red Sea regions. as a contribution towards
the cost of re-building the Church of Scotland
School at Sheikh Othman.
I am making enquiries about this
matter and I hope to let you know the result as
soon as possible.
