in spite of his physical disabilities he has always tried to improve the
efficiency of his command. He did not see eye to eye with the Ministry
of Defence in Air Force matters, and felt that they were continually
placing financial or other obstacles in the way when he suggested
improvements or reforms. Ke has always been helpful to British
instructors in the Afghan Air Force.
(b) Appointment
of a new Comnandant.
F.iu. Asadullah Khan (W.»/. 119) has been appointed officiating
Commandant of the Air Force vice F.H, Muhd Ihsan Khan, deceased. It is
understood that F.M. Asadullah Khan will continue to hold his
appointment as Inspector General in the Afghan Amy.
