Sabazalsad* experience has shown that it is too near Bushire
to he free from malaria. As the land is not likely to he
needed for any useful purpose* and as the question of the
transfer of the Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. from Bushire is under consideration
it is desirable that the land* excepting the plot on which
the Assistant Engineer’s bungalow stands should he disposed
of as soon as a suitable offer is forthcoming* because once
the decision to move the Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. outside Bushire becomes
known* land values in Bushire will tend to fall*
3*. In the circumstances explained above* I am to request
that the sanction of His Majesty’s Secretary of State for
India to the sale of the land may kindly be communicated* The
proceeds will be apportioned as usual in moieties between
His Majesty’s Government and the Government of India*
