Sir,
With reference to Foreign Office despatch
No. 46 (K 8456/990/293) of the 2nd August last, I have
the honour to report that the new British Consular
Shipping Office, Ahadan Peach, under the supervision of
His Majesty’s Vice-Consul at Mohammerah, was opened in
premises ashore on the 13th February 1933 and that I have
issued a letter of authority to Mr. Chauncy appointing
him British Vice-Consul, Abadan Peach, bearing the same date.
2. I have the honour to attach a specimen of the
official signature and seal of the British Vice-Consul,
certified by myself.
3. I am sending copies of this despatch to His
Majesty’s Representatives at Bagdad and Tehran.
