NOTE.
Military Reports are intended for the use of officers
in the field only and it is proposed to reduce their
bulk very considerably, everything being omitted which
has not a direct military value to those operating in
the field. This volume of the new series of Military
Reports of Persia has beemwritten up here from material
available, much of which is defective and out of date.
It is hoped, however, that it will afford a useful basis
for working on and give a clear idea of the scope of the
information required. All officers to whom a copy is
issued are asked to co operate in the preparation of a
further edition of this publication.
