(2) The GhaHehiSn Ughrl are a tribe of COO families who
we notorious for robbery. They have a reputation as ultra-
strict Shi ahs with a reverence for the Kuran which leads them
to abstain from taking the oath upon it. Part of this tribe is
sedentary at Slmakan and part is attached to the IlkhSni’s
Amaleh.
(3) The Ghallehzan Michak are a tribe of 100 families which
was formerly attached to the Ubegi’s Amaleh, but now attached
to the
Ilkhani
The paramount chief of certain tribes in south west Iran.

The total strength of the Ghallehzans is thus about 1 200
families. ’
(/) The Bulll (or Buttt), consists of three sub-divisions m «
Bull! Hashem KhSnT, (2) Bull! Zirak, and (3) Bulli Hail Tahmas *
Khani, (known as the Kahlu). J ^anmas
(1) The Bulb Hashem Khani are a tribe of some 500 families
who have for the last 7 or 8 years been sedentary at Galehdar
and Alamarvdasht.
(2) The Bulll Zirak are a small tribe of some 100 families^
mostly occupied in agriculture. The tribe is attached to the
llkhani’s Amaleh.
(3) The Bulli Haji Tahmas Khani are a tribe of about 250
families, whose Garmslr is in Arba’eh, Hangam, Piruzftbad and
FarSshband, and their Sarhad at Khiisru Shirin. They migrate
rid FIruzafcad, Khwajai, Siakh, Kushan, Juyum, Baiza Kam
Rruz, Dizkurd to Khusru Shirin.
The total strength of the Bullis is thus about 850 families.
(g) The Fafi Khdnis (or Safi Ahdnlus), originally migrated
from Luristan, and settled in Pars. There are about 600 families
in the tribe, which is famous for bravery and addicted to rob
bery.
The tribal Garmsir is from south-west of Farashband to the
borders of Pashti, while the Sarhad is in Dizkurd, KhusrQ
Shirin, boh Deh and Bud Khaneh Safid. They migrate vid
Firuzabad, Chinar, Fariab, Jfiyum (or sometimes vid Khwajai
and SiSkh to Juyiim*), Baiza, Kam Firuz, to Khusru Shirin.

(h) The Qarachehi, was the first tribe of the Qashqai II to Qarachelli '
migrate from Turkistan. The tribe numbers 500 families.
It has its Garrnsir in the Farashband and Jirreh districts and its
Sarhad at Kuhmair and Mourak in the Padina district. The
route of its migration is the same as that of the Shishbulukis
