''Gunny bags are practically unobtainable in ShTraz. The Packing,
local equivalents are not obtainable in large ■quantities and,
though very strong and durable, are expensive. Gunnies should
therefore be brought by a force of whatever size entering the
country.

The volume is entitled Military Report on Persia. Volume IV Part II. Fars, Gulf Ports, Yazd and Laristan. (Simla, Government of India Press, 1924). The volume was originally published in 1923.
