,Ve njade it clear to the Government of India that we
fully appreciated tne possible difficulties in
interfering with a visit to Koweit by King Peisal.
The hesiaent has now put forward aetailed suggestions
as to how to aeal with the question of such a visit.
On the whole, subject to the views of tne Poreign
Office and the Government of India, I am inclinea to
think that there is much to be saia for the course of
action suggestea by Colonel Powle, ana if you see no
objection I will consult tne Poreign Office informally
aoout it as in the uraft below. The Government of
India are unlikely to have any very strong view of their
own in the matter.
