This bundle consists of summaries, and partial transcripts, of secret letters received from HM Minister to Persia, Charles Augustus Murray (15 and 22 December 1855, Numbers 106-107). It also includes letters sent to Murray by Richard W Stevens, HM Consul at Tehran.
The subject matter of the dispatches consists of reports of Persian troop movements, and discussion as to the conditions Britain should demand from Persia for the resumption of diplomatic relations.
