The file contains papers related to the security and maintenance of the Bushire-Shiraz-Isfahan Road, and discussion over whether a British supervising engineer should be dispatched to manage and supervise repairs. It also contains a few reports about a visit by the Soviet Consul for Isfahan, Mr Martchenko, in February 1945.
