I consider there is much force in the argument
that it would pay us to be generous in any deal we may
make with the Persians over war material. I therefore
hope that you and Commander in Chief will agree that
lorries may be handed over on the easiest terms possible-
War Office for their part are willing to leave terms
to Commander in Chief.
