Map by Harold Richard Patrick Dickson, Lieutenant-Colonel, Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. to Kuwait showing the area occupied by the Al Murrah tribe and the approximate location of the other major tribes across the region with Bertram Thomas’ route across Al Khali (Empty Quarter) inserted in red.

Map has numerous pencil additions. In the title the word ‘Murra’ is changed to ‘Morrah’ and ‘from Baduin Sources’ is added. Signed and dated ’23.8.35’.
