of 5th February to your address on the subject of the request of

2. While in Calcutta I communicated to you the purport of
Consul Crow's telegram to me of Sth January (copy attached) and

a “benami" transaction, if I may use an Indian term. I added that
pending further news from xvoweit no action seemed necessary.
