In order to complete Bandar Abbas road as
proposed Labour Corps would have to be detainen in
Persia for at least two months, and expenditure of
at least 6
lakhs
One lakh is equal to one hundred thousand rupees
would be Involved. In view of His
Majesty's Government's orders for economy sucn
expenditure would not in the opinion of Government
of India be justified, and tney regret that original
instructions for Labour Corps to oe withdrawn must
stand.
