The file concerns the oil exploration agreement between Shaikh Rashid bin Humaid [Rashid bin Humayd Al Nu’aymi], Ruler of Ajman, and Petroleum Concessions Limited (and its subsidiary, Petroleum Concessions ( Trucial Coast A name used by Britain from the nineteenth century to 1971 to refer to the present-day United Arab Emirates. ) Limited), dated 23 March 1939.
