Blueprint map showing proposed oil concession area to be granted by Shaikh Sir Hamad bin Isa Alkhalifah [Ḥamad bin ‘Īsá Āl Khalīfah], Ruler of Bahrain, to Petroleum Concessions Limited (PCL).
The map states: 'Enlarged in Land Department. Government of Bahrain'.
The map is referred to in a letter dated 7 May 1938, with accompanying schedules, from Charles Dalrymple Belgrave, Adviser to the Government of Bahrain, to the Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. , Bahrain (folios 579-590). The PCL concession area is edged in red.
