Shaikh Huharnmad bin Salim, brother of the Shaikh of
Ras al Khaimah, declined to accept the Shaikh of Ras ul Khaimah's
proposal that they should go to Sharjah to sectle the dispute m
the presence of the Shaikhs of Sharjah and Ajman. He has also
rejected an offex that his family should live in lilailan, a small^
village situated betv/een Sha'am and Rams. By this offer the oha.’...i
of Ras al Hhaimah hoped to occupy the strong poini/S vacated by h. •-
brother, but Shaikh Huhaiiimed bin Salim has decided not to move ^ 1 ^ 1
