ab;i(l, Ramkan, Chah Gez, Henjareh, and skirting Pansara, with a loop-line to
village, the line would run close to Parrek and Kaskin to Pahra.

I made careful enquiries regarding th« country between Pahra and Kuhak
through Magas, and from what i could gather and from the description given
-d it by Capiain Sykes and other travellers, it appears to lie in every way the
most, suitab’e line to follow. Politically, too, the advantages would be great.
I would therefore venture to suggest that Karachi be decided on as the
objective, and that beyond Pahra the line should continue along the valley
between the flomand and Lashari range to Magas, thence along the left bank
O! rhe Mashkeel river to Kuhak on the Perso-Kelat frontier, through Bela to
Byari, where vve should strike our owu line which runs to Karachi.
