^lad to have you as Secretary at Bahrein on a contract
basis.
,/e therefore propose to offer you the following
terms, subject to Treasury sanction -
Salary (taxable) £900
Personal allowance (non-taxable) £1 # 650
The appointment would be for a period of two years* but
we might possibly wish to renew it at the end of that
