had to be hustled by us in obtaining them. The
facilities in question having been received there will
be more opportunities for cultivating personal and
friendly relations which the Shaikhs, who should now
as far as possible be left in peace to adapt themselves
to the new conditions which the establishment of the Air
Route has so rapidly brought about in their territory*

should they see fit, would give their general approval
