7- These raids may be considered insignificant
but the reason why they have not been successful is
the intense vigilance displayed by us. They prevent
one relaxing far a minute because if one did do
they might well snap up two or three flocks of camels
thereby provoking trie Howeitat to counter raids and
upsetting the whole situation*
8 . Evan without this, the Howeitat are aware
of the frequent raids or attempted raids against
them by these parties, sanctiored by Al Nashmi, and
this gives a constant theme for complaints that,
