In continuation of my IIo.C/140, dated the 22nd April
1 have the honour to state that Ibrahim and Sulaiman, the sons
01 the late Shaikh Khalid bin Muhammad al-Khalif a h, returned
to Bahrain on Saturday April 28th. They were accompanied
oy Abdur Razzact who is a distant relation.
On arrival they proceeded at once to call upon His
lixcellency Shaikh Isa bin Ali.
On April 30th a Majlise had been arranged at Shaikh
Hamad's new palace at Manamah. This was attended by Ibrahim
and Sulaiman, the sons of Shaikh Khalid, who sat apart, by
Shaikh Muhammad bin Shaikh Isa, Shaikh Sulaiman bin Hamad,
Saiyid Ad nan, the Shiah ^dhi, and Mr. Belgrade. Shaikh Hamad
himself entered tne room after the arrival of the Shiah ^.adhi.
'farious members of the general public arrived during the
proceedings and sat along the wall opposite the sons of Khalid,
who did not speak.
Por over half an hour Shaikhr Hamad and Muhammad
alternatively made complimentary speeches, Sayed Adnan being
selected for special praise, the visitors along the wall
making appropriate ejaculations.
Hassan Din Mazook, the representative of the minor
heirs of the persons murdered at Sitra then arrived accompanied
by the one heir who has attained his majority.
Tne two Shaikhs then made speeches extolling Sayed
Mazook. Shaikh Hamad then proposed to read the proclamation,
