Following telegraphic report, dated Robat, 5th instant, has been received
from Colonel Dyer :—
“ A German with a small party arrived at Bampur and interviewed
Sardar
Leader of a tribe or a polity; also refers to a military rank or title given to a commander of an army or division.
Bahram Khan Baranzai. A messenger was despatched by latter to Taj
Muhammed Raki with object of inducing him to Bampur.
