“The Italian Government and the Government of the United
Kingdom hereby reaffirm their intention always to respect and
abide by the provisions of the Convention signed at Constantinople
on the 29th October, 1888, which guarantees at all times and for
all Powers the free use of the Suez Canal.”
I have the honour to communicate the above Declaration to Your
Excellency as the Representative of the territorial Power concerned.

Government, as the territorial Power concerned, t-ake note of the
intention of the Italian Government and the Government of the
United Kingdom and associate themselves therewith.
