from Iraq for operational purpesos in the Perilan
Gulf or in any matter that is likely to affect the
dispositions of such aircraft or of Royal Air Force
personnel in Iraq, the Resident should communicate
with the High coimaiesioner for Iraq*
(o) If at any time air operations are actually
in progress in the ersian Gulf, the Resident may
ooimmnicate direct with the Air Officer Commanding
in Iraq but he should take steps, so far as lies

vithin his power/ ensure that the high Commissioner
for Iraq is kept fully informed of all developments.
