Prom Mushki Chrh, through which a railway to the frontier
will pass, the I'iri&wa, the line would cross an open and
almost level desert plain* presenting no difficulty to the railway
engineer, other than such as relate to water. Pain only falls, in
this particular area, on an average of once in three years and
os the water supply at Uuehki Chah, although plentiful* is not
suited to loccrotive purposes* the inportance of having entry to

The extension of the duetta-!?ushki branch railway line
to Dalbandin* a dist^mce of 115 miles has already been sanctioned
and work on it is already complete. The ali'mment on this section
