  • The formation in early 1916 of an Anglo-Russian Financial Commission within the Persian Government to oversee financial matters.

The papers include six-monthly reports produced by the Anglo-Russian Financial Commission from August 1916 to October 1917.

The successor to the Court of Directors. and Foreign Office but further correspondence, usually included as enclosures, comes from officials at the Colonial Office, Treasury, British Legation in Tehran, and the Governments of Russia and Persia.
