Chapter V. — CONCLUSIONS.
94 The Committee .
(a) Reiterates the hope (1) that the Slavery Convention of September 25th, 1926,
av be ratified without further delay by those States which, having signed or acceded to
4 subject to ratification, have not yet ratified ; and (2) that such States as have been
' vited to accede to the Convention and are not yet parties thereto will consider the
possibility of acceding thereto ,
(b) Expresses the hope that the Governments will continue to supply information
s full and as accurate as possible, in accordance with Article 7 of the 1926 Convention
and the various resolutions of the Assembly;
f c ) Calls the Council’s attention more particularly to the suggestions formulated
the present report on the basis of Article 16, paragraph 1, of the Committee’s Rules of
Procedure for obtaining such further light as it deems desirable on points arising in
connection with the examination of the documents supplied by the Governments ;
(d) Suggests that the Council should bring to the notice of the Governments
oncerned, for any action they may think fit to take, the wishes and recommendations,
both general and specific, which it has been thought expedient to formulate in the present
report.
