2ctL ultimo respectixig the desirability of con
ferring Consular powers on Lieutenant-Colonel
William George Grey, I am directed by Viscount
Gre b of Pallodon to state, for the information of
the Secretary of State for India in Council, tha
Lieutenant-Colonel Grey was on the 24th ultimo
appointed to be His Majesty’s Consul-General for
the Province of Khorassan, to reside at Meshed.
