Sir,
I am directed by Mr. Secretary ./ebb to transmit
to you the accompanying copy of a despatch addressed by
the Political Resident A senior ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul General) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Residency. in the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. to the high
Commissioner for Palestine giving cover to a petition from
the Jewish Community of Busnire regarding their need for
a school.
2. This correspondence has been forwarded to the
Secretary of State by the High Commissioner for Palestine
who has pointed out that the Headquarters of the Alliance
Israelite Universalle is in Paris and has suggested that
the Anglo-Jewish Association may be prepared to assist the
Jewish Community in Bushire in this matter.
