This black and white print of a hand drawn diagram shows telegraph lines and submarine cables of the Indo-European Telegraph Department.

It indicates the following: circuits fitted for duplex working; circuits worked by wheatstone automatic transmitting receiving and repeating apparatus; circuits normally worked by Morse hand signalling apparatus; and submarine cables.
