The file includes documents in Arabic, a translation of a report containing statements from the five women, explaining what happened to them (folios 8-11), and copies of letters from the Political Agency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, headed by an agent. in Bahrain to Dr Gerrit J Pennings at the American Mission Hospital in Bahrain requesting that the women be accommodated in the Mission for a short period of time.
