I sun directed by Mr. Secretary Amery to refer
to your letter No.P.2343 of the 28th of July, regarding
the proposed revision of the treaty with Ibn Saud.
It is proposed that a further conference
should be held on Wednesday the 11th of August at
3.30 o.m. in Room 88 of this Office to discuss one
preliminary draft of the revised treaty, which
accompanied the letter from this Department No.C.lcl^
of the 15th of July, in the light of the observations
of the Government of India, and I am to request that
the Secretary of State for India will nominate a
representative to attend this conference.
