Hajd - huwait frontier Agreement.

Heference your memorandum Ho.5CX), dated 10th January
1923, I have duly received the maps therein referred to.
I have marked in on these the boundaries agreed upon at
the f Ujair Conference in so far as these affect Kuwait, and have
passed one copy of the complete map to the Shaikh, together with
the three signed copies of the Najd - Kuwait Frontier Agreement,
wnich he had already seen but was unwilling to sign until he
could see the map referred to.
Ihe Shaikh has now accepted the Agreement, and has
endorsed the documents to that effect. He has retained one copy
for himself and returned two to me, wi ich I am sending one to
Ibn Sa f ud and filling the other.
I enclose herewith a translation of the Shaikh’s letter
on the subject, in which he expressed his gratitude to H.E. the
High Commissioner for arranging the matter satisfactorily
