Agent, Kuwait, regarding the desirability of defining a
provi sicnal Kuwait-Nejd front!er.

that from the Kuwait point of view it is dealrable that
this question should not be reopened until the boundary
\ Ntween Kuwait and Nejb is to be finally settled, and that
the High Commissioner has agreed that the best plan would
be to prohibit th® Iraq and Held tribes from crossing the
29th parallel between the red and green lines shown on the
map of Kuwait prepared when the Anglo-Turkish negocietions
were in progress (annex. No. 5 to the draft Anglo-Turkish
