Quarantine doctors in the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. .
After long discussion the most that Minister of
Court consented to do was as follows
(1) That official note should he sent me
notifying decision of Persian government to take over
quarantine service themselves and thanking for past
services of English doctors.
( 2 ) That Persian doctors at Bushire and
iviohammerah would receive definite instructions to
consult and profit hy experience of English quarantine
doctors in cane the latter remained
He maintained that he had already taken steps to
prevent state of affairs in the Gulf heing upset hut
that this question of doctors depended on recent
Majlis vote and had nothing to do with his promise.
